Grand Master Helio Gracie

The originator of the Gentle Art as we know it. Grand Master Helio Gracie graduated Grand Master Francisco Mansor, planting the seed that would grow into the Kioto system.

Grand Master Francisco Mansor

Graduated by Grand Master Helio Gracie. Founded Kioto BJJ in 1965 — one of the most traditional Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools in the world. He is one of the most respected men in BJJ.

Master Milton Regis

Grand Master Mansor began training Milton when he was just 8 years old. Today, Master Regis teaches out of the Kioto Oakdale location in Long Island, NY, and continues to develop the next generation of instructors.
